Stupid question but what tool did you use to put the line border on the leather?

Thanks!
I use a vegetable tanned leather cow hide.

Ah wonderful, thanks for the info! I'm embarking on an endeavor to create a steampunk Iron Man outfit for next years comic-con and was a little confused about what leather I should use. When I found your page I celebrated a little. :XD: I'll see if I can get my hands on a fair amount of vegetable tanned cow hide, and thanks again!

Awesome!
No problem. You will have to dye it though, not sure if you know that or not. But the bonus is you can dye it any color one desires :)

I figured dye would have to be used. I'm a little worried about shrinkage (I'll be honest, I've never worked with leather on this scale before). We'll see how things progress with the building of the suit before touching the dyeing process.

I would like to ask if there is any tutorial on how to make these awesome gloves. I searched the internet but couldn't find any good ones.
